The problem went away the second the download stopped - I guess my awesome connection was using ALL of the bandwidth. Sorry

Can anyone play this demo? i cant, it startes to load then goes to a black screen, then restartes the PC 
help me files say switch off AVG anti virus, which i did, also says get latest drivers, which i did,,,, but stil crashes on load up, think i,l be sticking with UT2004,, at least that works.
i have been waiting 12 months for this demo

Uhm, Clive, have a look at the log file launch.log here:
My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3 Demo
There might be the error, what and why and stuff...

Thx Alex, had a look at the log file, cant find anything wrong there, i had a look in the UT3 demo forum and theres someone in there with exactly the same symptons as me, it looks like theres an issue with the 7600 GT graphics card
just hope they sort it out before the game is released, or i will have to get another card.

Clive, did you already update your graphics driver?
If not, get the latest from www.nvidia.com and try again.

hey everyone.....
clive, i have exactly the same prob like u
i click on the .exe file, then it starts with the unreal-logo and after a few sec. i ve got a black screen....after a few sec. more the pc reboot
i ve got a g-force 8800 gtx .....
i hope anyone can help us.....
a soon as i have a solution i will post it....

my g.card worth £20 and i can play it  haha!
lol i put the graphics up to full wack and it still works but the shaders n stuff is poor though, but looks like ut2004 to me but more in depth detail. so when new system next year comes. roll on
i havent tried online yet. will do in abit
clive i had the black screen for a while was thinking uh oh maybe cos of my slow system. but i waited 15-20secs and everything loaded up!
Shame it doesn't have any onslaught modes. leats u get a feel of vehicles on the ctf. the bridge map will be popular me thinks...

haha plaed with graphics on full properly, lags alot and this is offline play where the g.card fails n other things.
Also one BIG problem, im with BT (isp) apparently you cant register or get online play at the time being if your with BT. sucks!!!!!!

You mean you are not able to register?
There's an issue regarding UK keyboard layout.
You might need to switch to US and start the game
again - that's something I stumbled over yesterday.
