ok seeing as none of you have come to irc yet
i will post clear instructions here on how to connect
YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING!
IT IS JUST 3 SIMPLE STEPS.....
1. download mirc...... this is a 30 day trial you DO NOT have to pay anything.....
get it here http://mirc.mirrors.nuqe.net/mirc616.exe and install it
after install start it click ok 2 times
2. after loading you will be looking at a window called mirc option
this is where you will fill in your name email irc nick and altnick
fill in these details..... using only numbers and a-z -[]
if you are looking at a window called mirc options
sometimes you are looking at your favourites list
close that and look on the top menubar of mirc
you will see lots of icons under file edit options ect
click the second icon from the left.... this is mirc options
3 on the left side of mirc option there is a list of other options
click server/s
in the very top box in the main option you should have ALL in it
if it hasnt click it and select all..... now click the add button
enter these details.....
description kickback server
server address - irc.zapto.org
port 6667
now simply click add/ok
this is the setup part complete
you can now just click conect to server
you will enter the server and join #kickback-arrivals
where i will be waiting to say HELLO
we have a clan channel this is #[xir][clan]
to join it you can either type /list and dbl click it from the list
or you can type /join #[xir][clan]
when you successfully connect to the server with your correct nickname
you can register it so no one else can use it.....to do this
wait 60 seconds on connect......
then type....... /msg nickserv register "pass" "email"
where pass is a password you choose (case sensertive)
and your own email address.......
the email address is needed incase you forget
your password the server will email it to that email address
no one else will ever get your email address!

my irc server is now linked to 4 other servers....
this is great news!
we now have a 4 server network

Thanks Dave for putting so much time and energy
into this! I promise I'll give it a go again soon. 
Actually it would be a great thing for clan related
real-time discussions. What does the rest of us
think about that?
Mh... well, all clan members except Bernhard,
looks like IRC is too complicated for him...

i could only hope other members would try it......
it is safe and secure.....
and at times alot of fun....
would be great if my friends came there....
currently have about 40 global users and growing every day....

IRC is cool. Might be a bit harder to
configure - compared to other messenger
proggies - but there's so much more stuff
you can do.
Toky installed a bot there who is able to
answer your questions. And he/she is
doing a striptease if you want him/her to
do so. Really cool Dave!
Yer and there's no annoying adverticing in
it and it's on you to turn it on or off. And it
doesn't bother you when you're buisy...
...and, and, and...

VERY nice m8 i join mirc all members of X|R can talk to menny clan,s AND put you buddy,s from clan,s in mirc FAVORITES
