Bis zum Release des Action-Shooters Unreal Tournament 2007 - geplant für das erste Halbjahr kommenden Jahres - vergeht noch etwas Zeit. Dennoch arbeitet Entwickler Epic Games mit Hochdruck an der Fertigstellung. So hat Steve Polge im offiziellen Forum erklärt, dass zur Zeit an über 40 Maps gefeilt wird. Einige davon werden zwar nicht in die Vollversion integriert, der UT-Fan kann sich aber dennoch auf eine stattliche Anzahl freuen, so Polge. Unreal Tournament 2007Unreal Tournament 2007
Zudem erklärte der Epic-Entwickler, dass eine Demo zu Unreal Tournament 2007 definitiv erscheinen wird. Diese soll nach Angaben von Polge lange vor der Goldmeldung des Spiels veröffentlicht werden, um das Feedback der Community in die Fertigstellung des Spiels aufzunehmen.
